This is primarily a nonverbal, observational activity. Observe unusual behaviors, for example:

  • Too close to tracks
     
  • Erratic walking gait or gestures
     
  • Erratic or incomprehensible speech
     
  • Long stares into the nothingness
     
  • Leaving personal possessions
     
  • Pacing or approaching the edge of platform
     
  • Drunk, intoxicated, under the influence
     
  • Disoriented
