Advising Sessions/Webinars
Over the summer, all incoming students are provided support with first-quarter course selection by Academic Advisors in the Office of Academic Advising.
Starting the week of July 10th, Academic Advisors will facilitate introductory advising sessions for new students as they prepare to register the week of July 24 - July 28. Please see the information below to sign up for the Advising Webinar Kick-off and a 1st Year Academic Advising Session.

Step 1: Attend an Advising Session (Required)
Scroll down further on this page to register for an advising session with the Office of Academic Advising or your College/Major Department. We recommend that you attend both. Unable to make it to a session? Recordings will be available on this page following the session.

Step 2: One on One Advising Drop-In's
After attending an advising session or watching the advising videos, you may attend an individual virtual (zoom) advising meeting via drop-ins.
Visit the Office of Academic Advising Drop In's & Appointments Page to see drop-in hours for the rest of the summer and link to join the queue.

Academic Advisors are holding required introductory 1st Year Academic Advising Sessions to help students develop their first-quarter schedules and answer general advising questions.

Take the Language Placement test
Students who are continuing to study a language they started learning prior to DU take a placement test to determine their starting course level.
Use the Math Advising Tool to determine the appropriate math course for your program/degree type.
Review a sample course plan for your major area of interest
Watch the instructional registration videos to learn how to navigate our registration system
Complete the billing agreement and submit proof of immunization to ensure you can register.
Incomplete forms can result in holds on your account which will prevent registration.
