Summer with KINE

Taking summer classes in the Kinesiology and Sport Studies (KINE) program at the Graduate School of Professional Psychology offers an exciting opportunity to dive deeper into the science, culture, and practice of human movement and sport. Athletic and Performance Nutrition (CPSY 3635) introduces you to best practices in fueling for sport performance, health, and recovery. You will explore how research-based nutrition strategies can be applied in real-world sport and team environments, from shaping team culture around food to promoting healthy choices through communication and leadership. The course also examines how individual differences, motivations, and environmental factors influence nutrition habits. It’s a valuable opportunity if you're interested in coaching, sport leadership, or health professions to develop practical strategies that support both athlete wellbeing and performance.
