Resilience in Life
A new course “Managing Your Time, Self, and Stress,” open to all undergraduates and housed in Psychology, reviews the scientific basis for understanding stress, with the goal of introducing practical, science-based tips for coping, resilience, and improving well-being. Students in the class will be introduced to a variety of tools – some physical, some mental, to give students practice with a number of strategies so they can experience what works for them. Students will reflect on their experience with these practices and form plans to use them in everyday life. The course will also review best practices in time management to help students make time for all the things they prioritize.
