Retirement Resources

Retirement represents a significant milestone for faculty, marking both the culmination of a meaningful academic career and the beginning of a new chapter of opportunities. To support you through this transition, the University of Denver offers a collection of resources to help you navigate the personal, academic, and financial considerations that come with planning for retirement.

Here, you’ll find links to information about retiree benefits, retirement plans, and the process for requesting emeritus status, as well as access to the DU Retiree Newsletter. In addition, the DU Retirees Association provides ongoing opportunities to stay connected with colleagues and remain engaged with the university community through events, programs, and other activities. These resources are designed to help you make informed decisions, prepare confidently for the future, and craft a fulfilling and meaningful retirement experience.

For more connection to DU resources, outreach to the Office for Faculty Success for a consolation on retiree benefits and processes, tenure relinquishment, and other considerations.
