Director of Communication for Enrollment
Originally from Portland, Oregon, I fell in love with the University of Denver when I came out to visit for a Pioneer Days event as a senior in high school because of the beautiful campus setting and personal attention from everyone I met. I packed my bags a few months later, hopped on a plane and became a member of the DU community.
While at the University of Denver, I took advantage of the Cherrington Global Scholars program and studied abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, living with a host family and taking all my classes in French. This experience gave me new perspectives on both life and academics that I could bring back to DU. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Management with minors in Leadership Studies and French Language. Because of our 4+1 program, I was also able to earn a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication all in five years.
Throughout my time as a student at the University of Denver I made great friends, went on many outdoor adventures, had inspiring conversations with professors and met my husband! I enjoy working here on campus as the Director of Communication for the Enrollment Division because it gives me an opportunity to share my experience with prospective students who are looking into what this city and University can offer.
As an Admission Counselor, I specifically work with our students from Cherry Creek High School, Grandview High School and Smoky Hill High School here in Colorado.
