Christina Hunter

Assistant Director of Admission and Communication

Christina Hunter

As a University of Denver Assistant Director and two-time alumna, I've had the unique privilege of spending many of my formative years at this dynamic institution. As an undergraduate student I majored in Sociology, minored in International Studies, and was incredibly involved both on campus and in the community. I participated in several internships, volunteered in the greater Denver area, and studied abroad in South Africa. I received my Master of Business Administration at the Daniels College of Business, where I loved the cohort model, emphasis on ethics and leadership, and hands-on learning opportunities involving local businesses and organizations. I enjoyed my student experience at DU so much that I am thrilled to be working with prospective students and families throughout the admission process!

I love to adventure, whether that entails taking a random road trip across Colorado or hopping on a plane to a far-off country. When I am not on campus or on the road, you will either find me curled up with a good book, exploring local coffee shops, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, volunteering in the community, or socializing with friends and family.

My Territories

As a Colorado transplant and Seattle native, I feel privileged to work with students from both my Pacific Northwest roots in Washington and Oregon, as well as the beautiful state of Alaska and the North Central Colorado region.
