Associate Dean of Admission

Margret Korzus
The University of Denver has been home for me as a student, a teacher, and an admission professional. It has enhanced my life by allowing me to do what I love; study, read, travel, and working with you during your time of transition from high school to college. I was born and raised in Berlin, Germany and came to Denver as a young woman. I hold a bachelor's degree and PhD in English literature from DU, and a Master's degree in African Studies from UCLA. I spent a year abroad at the University of Ghana in West Africa. Travel is a natural part of my life, since to quote Mark Twain "it [travel] is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness." I value DU's emphasis on studying abroad, especially the Cherrington Global Scholars Program. Although not a trained rider, I love a gentle horse.
