Associate Director of Admission and Coordinator of the Ammi Hyde Interview Program
As an undergraduate at the University of Denver, I was involved with the Office of Admission and many Student Life organizations. Seeing the passion, spirit, and multitude of responsibilities within these departments is what led me to pursue a career in college admission. My professional journey began in 2005 after receiving a BA in Journalism and Public Relations and minors in Business and Leadership. I moved to Southern California shortly thereafter and explored a new state as well as the ins and outs of the admission process at a private, two-year college. In July 2007, I jumped at the chance to work for my Alma Mater and returned to DU. I am currently an Associate Director of Admission and Coordinator of the Ammi Hyde Interview program. I was born in Denver and have spent the majority of my life here, with the exception of two years in Los Angeles, California and two years in Tokyo, Japan. Without a doubt in my mind, the best four years of my life so far were spent at DU ('01-'05). The picturesque campus and Learning Effectiveness Program (LEP) were what originally drew me, but in the end it was the people and experiences that solidified my decision to attend. Being outdoors year around and surrounded by the immense beauty of the Rocky Mountains are some of the things I like most about living in Denver. More importantly, my family and friends - many of whom I met at DU - are here too. I love to cook, entertain, mountain-bike and ski. I also love to travel, which I will be doing plenty of in northern California because it is filled with exciting destinations and hundreds of future DU students!
