Senior Associate Director of Admission and Campus Visit Manager
I became an Admission Counselor at the University of Denver after graduating from DU in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in communication. Previously from a small town in Louisiana, I decided to go out of state for my college education and soon became a volunteer tour guide for Undergraduate Admission. I joined the professional staff in 2001 and I am currently a Senior Associate Director, working with prospective DU students in the Denver metropolitan private schools, Kansas and Louisiana. I also oversee DU's prospective student visit programs, including Daily Visits, Friday@DU, Pioneer Days and Journey to DU. During my time as a staff member, I completed my master's program in Higher Education with an emphasis in Leadership and Organizational Change. When not working at DU, I enjoy taking advantage of what the Colorado outdoors and Denver city life has to offer. In the summer I spend my weekends with my family (I have a four year old girl and two year old twin boys) gardening, and camping. This winter I plan on snowshoeing in Estes Park and testing my culinary skills by brewing my own beer.
