Associate Director of Admission & Communication
I am a Colorado transplant, and I love the Mile High City. After many years in both northern and southern California (where I earned my BA in English from UCLA), I was eager to join a similarly vibrant and cultured community. After searching the country, I found Denver to be a perfect fit. The pace of life, seasonal change, and accessible downtown were all very attractive features for me, and continue to be the reasons I enjoy living here so much. I earned my Master's in Counseling here in Colorado, and while I have worked in various educational venues, I knew I wanted to put my experience to good use in a college setting. Like countless others before me I found myself drawn to the University of Denver, where I continue to share my enthusiasm for this institution as an Associate Director of Admission and Communication. I also currently serve on the Executive Board for the Colorado Council on High School/College Relations.
When away from campus, you will find me spending time with my family and friends, reading the latest bestsellers, traveling the world, walking in Washington Park, and visiting all the fantastic places that Denver's burgeoning restaurant scene has to offer... I am the person to ask if you need a recommendation! I am also a die-hard San Francisco Giants fan, and Coors Field has made it ridiculously fun to be a baseball enthusiast in Denver.
As an Admission Counselor, I enjoy working with students from Ohio and southern California (all cities south of, and including, San Luis Obispo).
