Center for Conflict Engagement
In compliance with the University of Denver's efforts to stem the spread of the COVID 19 virus, the Center for Conflict Engagement's physical office space is currently closed. If you would like to get in touch with our staff, please reach us through our email address email@example.com or speak with us through our temporary virutal front desk via Zoom.
The Center for Conflict Engagement stands as the premier conflict research center in the Rocky Mountain region. The Center has partnered with community mediation programs throughout Colorado to develop the programs and to track their efficacy. Its annual community conferences bring mediators, scholars, and government leaders to the DU campus. Through the Center's ongoing research projects, students and faculty alike contribute to the conflict resolution field.
Our goal—to establish an intellectually rich environment for exploring central issues to help understand and explain mechanisms of conflict de-escalation, peaceful solutions, and reconciliation between parties—derives from a mission to encourage commitment to a harmonious world by exploring the deeper struggles that traditionally separate people and developing ideas to build an overall organic relationship.
