What We Do

The Conflict Engagement and Resolution Initiative provides tools, training, engagement opportunities, and process support for engaging across differences. These times of challenge, change, and growth highlight the importance of being able to engage across difference. People realize the false security that comes with only hearing similar views, of whatever stripe. In the face of destructive polarization, what is need is constructive engagement. We believe that that the process matters. By working with local and institutional partners, we bring theory and practice to conflict processes for greater engagement.

We do this by offering:

  1. Facilitated opportunities for constructive engagement

  1. Trainings in tools to engage with confidence

  1. Places (virtual and in-person) for learning about supportive theory and research for how and when to use various tools in the most effective ways
