The Office of Equal Opportunity & Title IX is within Human Resources & Inclusive Excellence.  In collaboration with University partners, the Office fosters an environment of equal opportunity for students, faculty, and staff in all aspects of educational programming and employment. In February 2019, Jeremy Enlow joined the University of Denver as Title IX Coordinator. Prior to joining DU, Jeremy Enlow served as the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the University of Kentucky from 2016-2019. From 2011-2015, Jeremy served in multiple roles at Eastern Kentucky University, first as the Policy, Compliance, and Governance Analyst for the Chief of Staff and later as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Jeremy holds a B.A. in History from Eastern Kentucky University and a Juris Doctorate from Chase College of Law.

Monica joined the Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX in 2017. She comes from the Pacific Northwest and is a licensed attorney in Washington State. Prior to coming to DU, she served as an employment attorney to the Human Resources Department of a Native American government entity. Her other professional experience includes seven years as a criminal prosecutor in both the traditional and restorative justice models and one year as a legal advocate at a domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center. She earned her J.D. from Syracuse University and her B.A. from Western Washington University. She enjoys being actively engaged with her community and working in the gardens at the Denver Botanic Gardens.


Rufina Hernandez

Rufina graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center and is a licensed Colorado attorney. She most recently served as the Director of the Colorado Civil Rights Division and has extensive experience with civil rights matters having served as the Director of the Human and Civil Rights Department of the National Education Association in Washington DC and Executive Director of the Latin American Research and Service Agency in Denver. She also has previous DU experience serving as the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. She will assist the Director of the Equal Opportunity Office in ensuring equity and compliance on DU's campus.


Alba Gonzalez

Alba joined the Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX in 2018 as an Investigator. Previously, she worked as a Bilingual Spanish speaking Investigator at the Colorado Civil Rights Division where she was responsible for investigating complex discrimination complaints in the areas of employment, housing, and public accommodations. She also conducted mediations as a third party neutral, and provided outreach and education on Colorado's anti-discrimination laws to the general public. Prior to her position at the Colorado Civil Rights Division, she served as a Paralegal in the Jimenez Law Firm and in the firm of Cianciolo and Beasley. Ms. Gonzalez holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Colorado at Denver and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Priscilla joined the Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX in 2019 as an Investigator. Prior to coming to DU, she worked as a Civil Rights Investigator at Pikes Peak Community College in Human Resources Services. Priscilla earned her. J.D. at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA and her B.A. from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, CO. She is from Colorado and enjoys giving back to her community through volunteer service. She currently volunteers with the nonprofits CASA for Kids of the Pikes Peak Region and UpaDowna adventure organization.
