Student Engagement Dashboards
Student engagement is a fundamental indicator of a thriving academic environment and is often used as a proxy for learning and as a benchmark for comparing the quality of postsecondary environments. Our primary mechanism for measuring engagement is the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), a standardized survey that asks students about perceptions regarding specific behaviors and interactions that have been shown to be associated with an engaged campus.
In this context we present NSSE data in order to ensure equitable and similarly high levels of engagement across demographic groups.
