This course provides supervisors with the skills needed to supervise staff in a trauma-informed manner. In Section One, the learner will evaluate their own supervisory style and reflect on supervisory responsibilities. Net, they will evaluate their expectations in comparison to what their staff need from them in their daily work. In Section Two, the course will delve into the National Child Traumatic Stress Network's Core Competencies in Trauma-Informed Supervision. The participants will learn each competency and be able to define the key terminology in the concepts presented. Through a problem-based scenario, learners will gain in-the-moment feedback and develop critical thinking skills that they will be able to apply to their daily practice.
