Chief Information Security Officer

Alain Bouit serves as the University of Denver’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) providing leadership and coordination for the information security program, and leads the Information Security Team.  This team is in charge of designing and implementing a holistic information security architecture to protect the University’s internal network and resources from unauthorized access. By utilizing the latest in Information Security technologies, participating in threat intelligence services, and maintaining connections with a variety of Higher Education Information Security organizations, the information security engineers stay abreast of trends in the cybersecurity threat landscape and mitigate these threats by implementing applicable solutions and tools in a proactive manner to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of DU’s compute environments and sensitive data.  The Information Security Office also manages security awareness promotion and training, security incident monitor and response, and departmental security liaison activities.  Please see our “Services” page to discover all our Services.
