Dreaming to Help Others

As a first-generation student, the daughter of immigrants and an immigrant herself, Yesenia Arreola faced obstacles while pursuing her master’s in social work. Despite initially planning on achieving a degree in business or accounting, she decided to help people who believed a college education was out of their reach.
