GIS in the Environment

Learn geographic information systems applications in the environment and explore analytical techniques that support environmental impact analyses, site selections, and the characterization of environmental hazards. In this program, you’ll focus on environmental assessment and natural resource management, conservation, and preservation, as well as examine natural hazard risk assessment and planning.

You can earn your certificate in GIS in the environment entirely online at University College. Credits earned in the certificate program can then apply to a six-course graduate certificate or towards a master’s degree in geographic information systems.
