International Business Transactions

Students in the International Business Transactions (IBT) LLM program at the Sturm College of Law graduate with the skills necessary to competitively position themselves in regional, national and global legal marketplaces. The program provides a deep understanding of international business and transactional law through courses in trade, commercial arbitration and dispute resolution, international intellectual property, banking, investment and finance.

A flexible structure allows students to design their own curriculum or pursue a concentration in International Environmental and Natural Resources Law, Trade and Investment Law, or Intellectual Property Law. Experiential learning opportunities are highly encouraged through the Legal Externship Program, International Law Society and International Commercial Arbitration and Investment Arbitration competitions, among others. Practice-ready graduates of Denver Law's LLM in International Business Transactions also graduate with the highly sought-after skills of negotiation and drafting.
