Gabriel Lira

What I do

Born and raised in Southern California, I started my Colorado adventure in 2009 when I became a student at Johnson & Wales University. I completed three undergraduate degrees and most recently my MBA while at JWU. During this time, I fell in love with Colorado and its culture, it’s why I never left! Outside of work you’ll find me making fun creations in the kitchen, camping at the lake with my dog, or out with my partner and friends exploring more of what Colorado has to offer. 

I am passionate about data-analytics, human resources, operations management, a maintaining a customer-centric mindset. With these passions I have exposed myself to many different industries over the last decade which led me here to the University of Denver in 2020! If there is one piece of advice that I can give to anyone applying to college it is to know that there are people out there to help you. It is okay if you don’t know the steps when you begin, it’s okay if those close to you do not know the steps … just don’t let that hinder you from finding the answers that get you where you want to be.
