What I do
Mari Henderson is one of the Program Coordinators for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) at the University of Denver. Asabea Amaniampong and Mari Henderson examine the morality that others place on how immigrants enter the country and what they do in the United States. The unforgiving coldness of immigration court and the American immigration system reduce persons to few acts or facts about their lives.
In September, Chancellor Haefner announced the 2020-2021 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Action Plan to further define DU's efforts to substantively and urgently address issues of DEI on campus this year. In building capacity toward these action items, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) has hired two program coordinators to support the work of the plan and made progress in achieving many goals.
