Professional Biography
The senior vice chancellor for business and financial affairs is the chief financial officer at the University. Mark brings to DU many years of finance and operations experience in higher education, as well as in the non-profit and private sectors. Mark comes to DU from the Georgia Tech Foundation, where he has served as the chief financial officer and corporate secretary since 2019. Prior to The Georgia Tech Foundation, Mark served as associate vice president and treasurer at Emory University from 2016-2019 and at Georgia-Pacific LLC from 2003-2016 as assistant treasurer. Mark earned his MBA in management with a focus on corporate finance and strategy from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He also holds a BSBA in accounting from Stonehill College in Massachusetts.
