Professional Biography
Thom Gulino is Senior Instructional Designer at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, where his work spans course and program design, curriculum development, and teaching and learning innovation. He has developed a growing body of programming around AI’s impact on education and industry: a recurring Teaching with AI workshop series offering faculty hands-on training in applied AI tools; the AI in Education & Industry video series, a faculty-produced collection highlighting real classroom AI use cases; and the AI in Industry speaker series, connecting faculty with practitioners across accounting, HR, cybersecurity, and hospitality who are actively reshaping their fields with AI. He also founded and chairs the Daniels Faculty AI Taskforce, which currently leads a Center for Ethical AI-funded Faculty Action Team supporting applied and ethical AI integration across the college. He holds an MSEd in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University.
