Legacy Review
In evaluating your federal loan eligibility, we have determined that you do not qualify for the legacy exception (i.e., old federal loan rules) due to one or more of the following being true:
- You have exceeded the “Expected Time to Credential” (ETTC) based on the number of terms you have completed relative to the minimum required for a full-time student in your same program (please note, federal regulations prohibit adjustments for part-time enrollment), or
- You had a withdrawal and did not re-establish enrollment prior to July 1, 2026, in your same program of study, or
- You are now enrolled in a program of study that does not match your program of study from prior to July 1, 2026, or
- You did not receive a disbursement of a Federal Direct Loan prior to July 1, 2026 for your current program of study.
We are aware of the Department of Education's recent communications regarding an update to the formula used for the calculation of expected time to credential. We are currently awaiting official, published guidance addressing this matter, and in anticipation, we are preparing necessary system updates to support this last-minute change. Affected students will be notified if their federal loan eligibility is impacted. Please note that submitting this form will not expedite the reevaluation process.
Explanation of Re-review:
If you believe none of the criteria above apply to your circumstances and your determination of eligibility is incorrect, you may submit a request for re-review of legacy determination below.
