Participants will reflect on their own cultural beliefs and worldviews and how they manifest in their work. This course facilitates an exploration of cultural trauma and how a structural competency lens can be applied to work with populations that experience systemic oppression. In the latter half of the course, participants will apply the 4 realms of ACES to a case scenario and explore cross-cultural therapeutic work within a problem-based learning scenario.
