Apply to the Program

The application for Fall 2024 is open.  The priority deadline for admission and financial aid consideration for Fall 2024 is January 8, 2024. Applications received after this date will be considered on a case-by-case basis based on space and aid availability.  Contact jointphd@iliff.edu for questions about the current status of options for late applicants.  Please submit an online application.  Students may begin their study in fall quarter only.

When submitting your application, please select your degree (PhD), college (Joint PhD Program), and major (Study of Religion). Please also be sure to clearly state your interests in the personal essay and name faculty members at DU and/or Iliff with whom you would like to work.

A printable confirmation page will appear after a successful application submission. Please keep a copy of the confirmation page for your records. You will not be able to make changes to your application after it has been submitted. However, you will be able to upload materials or check your application status upon submission by logging back into the application. Please note: It will take at least one business day for information to appear in the online status of your application after it has been submitted or uploaded.
