Employment Eligibility - I-9s

As mandated by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of November 6, 1986, the University is required to verify the identity and employment authorization of all individuals hired as employees (both temporary and permanent). Employees must properly complete Section 1 of the I-9 form online after accepting the position but by no later than the first day of employment. The new employee must bring the appropriate documents to the Employment Services team within Human Resources to verify in-person to allow the University to complete Section II and E-Verify. The I-9 and and E-Verify must be completed within three (3) business days of the start of employment.
