Overtime Eligibility (Exempt and Non-exempt)

The University defines exempt and non-exempt employees in accordance with the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state law, and otherwise is subject to the requirements of the FLSA and applicable state law. “Exempt” (i.e., salaried) employees are not eligible for overtime pay. “Non-exempt” (i.e., hourly) employees receive overtime pay in accordance with applicable law.
