On Thursday, Oct. 4, the University of Denver community took part in the 6th annual Crimson Classic. The fun run and walk has become a popular tradition that kicks off the new academic year. The 2.62-mile run and 1.31-mile walk is designed to bring together students, faculty and staff by promoting well-being.

The Crimson Classic serves as an opportunity for employees to learn more about well@du. The University's wellness initiative provides programming to encourage employees to increase the knowledge of their health status and achieve health goals.

Approximately 725 people participated in this year's event. Faculty and staff who take part in the wellmetrics portal received 500 points for completing the Crimson Classic.
