Dear DU community,

After further consideration and based on updated guidance, the University of Denver has extended the current non-essential domestic travel restriction until January 31, 2021 and extended the international travel restriction until March 18, 2021. These travel restrictions apply to all student and employee, academic and business-related, non-essential travel. The University also strongly discourages personal out-of-state or international travel. Please refer to the updated FAQ for further details.

For those who receive approval for essential travel:

  • Employees are required to book all travel through Pioneer Travel and Expense (log in through Pioneer Web)
  • All employees who travel internationally must submit a Request in Pioneer Travel and Expense (log in through Pioneer Web) before booking travel arrangements
  • Students who intend to travel internationally must send a complete international travel risk petition to risk@du.edu before departure for International Travel Committee approval and students will need to also complete a registration in DU Passport as an experiential learner
  • Contact DU’s International Travel Risk Analyst to notify your international travel plans

All approved travelers and any individuals (faculty, staff, or students) who travel out-of-state or internationally for any reason, including personal travel, are required to self-quarantine for 10 days away from campus before returning to campus.

Sincerely,

Mary Clark
