If you believe the motto, “reduce, reuse, recycle,” then thrifting is for you. You can find great deals at a thrift store that won’t break the bank. Plus, by donating more and thrifting more often, you will help the environment by keeping perfectly good items out of landfills.

There are abundant thrift stores, vintage shops and resale boutiques to choose from in the Denver area. So where to start? South Broadway is one of Denver’s major north-south arteries built in the late nineteenth century to haul produce into the city. Today, you’ll find unique eateries, bookstores, art galleries, vintage shops and more along this corridor.

Come along on this tour of South Broadway vintage and thrift shops where hidden treasures are just waiting to be found:

Boss Vintage

Boss Vintage

Our tour starts here at Boss Vintage which has specialized in wholesale and resale vintage for over 25 years. You’ll find items and clothing from the early 1900s through today, including popular clothing trends from well-known movies, TV and theater.

From the Gap to Gucci, Mercer Place offers a large yet organized selection of fashion merchandise. Unlike other consignment stores, Mercer Place buys your gently used pieces outright, even before they are sold. After more than 20 years in business, this resale boutique has established a growing children’s and men’s department, too.

ARC Thrift Store

ARC’s mission is to enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Customers who shop their stores not only help their own budgets and the planet but also support a local charity. Proceeds are distributed to ARC affiliations in Colorado.
