Colleagues,

Today, I am convening a second Town Hall on Online Education from 1-3 p.m. in Maglione Hall, following up on the March 4 town hall on this topic. As before, today’s interactive program is open to the campus community and will feature informative presentations and opportunities to engage with the topic. The program will include the Online Education Strategy Committee’s recent presentation to the Board of Trustees’ Faculty & Educational Affairs Committee, takeaways from the March 4 town hall, and plans as the committee move forward. Chief Innovation Advisor Marty Katz and University College Dean Michael McGuire will join me as presenters today. We’ll offer multiple breakout sessions and seek the campus community’s input on this timely topic, along with sharing details about next steps.

While it is not required to attend, you may RSVP here. To review the presentation slides or a video from the March 4 town hall, visit the Online Education Strategy Committee’s Portfolio page (must log into Portfolio with DU credentials to view), where we’ll also post materials from today’s town hall. We are very interested in the input of faculty members. If your schedule allows you to join us today from 1-3 p.m. in Maglione Hall, or any portion of this time, please consider attending.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Haefner

Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor
