Update on DU's web overhaul project for April 2022
MarComm is proud to announce the launch of the following five sites for Student Affairs & Inclusive Excellence over the past month:
- Disability Services Program
- Fraternity & Sorority Life
- Intramural, Club & Varsity Sports
- Student Organizations
- Student Rights & Responsibilities
There are 39 sites in the launch queue, 20 of which are inline sites for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs. Most of the Academic and Student Affairs sites have been migrated to Drupal and are in QA (quality assurance) before they are launched over the next two weeks. In partnership with campus stakeholders, MarComm has launched 167 websites and 11,520 pages since Drupal’s initial go-live in September 2018.
We continue to make updates to ensure the Drupal ecosystem functions properly. The Web Work Group meets monthly to address optimization needs and best practices. As a reminder, the OmniUpdate hosting contract expires on June 30, 2022. We anticipate all sites will launch through early June and we will use the remainder of June to tie up loose ends. We eagerly anticipate our upcoming launches and genuinely thank the campus community for their cooperation and collaboration throughout this process.
