Since the fall of 2018, DU has migrated or created 8,900 pages into a new content management system (CMS), Drupal. Despite the number of sites that have been created and optimized, there are still many pages within the DU web ecosystem yet to be transitioned. In order to move more swiftly through the site migration work to advance and maintain DU’s Drupal ecosystem, Fastspot has been selected to take on this project. Fastspot has deep experience in higher education websites within Drupal. A few of the universities that Fastspot has supported include Brown, Cornell, Yale and the University of Massachusetts. Its approach is focused on user experience and leveraging the institutional brand to tell digital stories.

Recently launched websites:

  • A revamped COVID-19 website that highlights DU’s return-to-campus plans and protocols
  • A new online education websitewhich functions as the hub for all of DU’s online degree and certificate programs
  • A new inclusive pedagogy website, which features work led by Valentina Iturbe-LaGrave, PhD, director for inclusive teaching practices in the Office of Teaching and Learning

After onboarding and discovery are completed, we will work with Fastspot to develop a full roadmap for the completion of the project. We look forward re-engaging with our campus partners to complete this important work.
