Social Enterprise, Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The social enterprise movement has brought new life and energy to the nonprofit sector, as organizations find business-driven approaches to solving social problems. The social enterprise, innovation and entrepreneurship program gives you hands-on experience as it takes you through the process of launching an idea as a social enterprise. From funding to prototyping, marketing to measuring, learn to address key social issues within your community by leveraging innovation and entrepreneurship. You'll develop the theoretical and practical skills you need to make an impact.
Program graduates will be well positioned to lead in the growing nonprofit sector, as well as make a genuine, sustainable impact in their communities and around the world. You can earn your MS in nonprofit leadership with a concentration in social enterprise, innovation and entrepreneurship or your graduate certificate entirely online or in the evenings on campus through University College. Beyond the courses in your concentration, you can choose from a range of electives related to nonprofit leadership, including courses in philanthropy principles, nonprofit financial health, and managing across cultures.
