Special Education Generalist

Our Special Education Generalist Certificate program is for students with an undergraduate degree who want to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to work successfully in inclusive special education programs.

The program trains you to work in public schools, private programs and community agencies that serve families with children with developmental delays and disabilities. You'll learn to solve problems and collaborate with others to make decisions that support positive social-emotional, cognitive, physical, communication and academic outcomes for individuals with special needs. Upon completion of the program, you'll be eligible to apply for endorsement from the Colorado Department of Education.
