Description 1

Our master's in human resource management and development will give you the opportunity to enhance your HR knowledge and leadership skills as you strategize ways to implement ideas that can move your organization forward. Determine what it takes to keep a strategy on track when undergoing change, and manage employee expectations and experiences as they navigate through that change. Through hands-on learning, you'll create an organizational change plan that involves such HR tasks as building teams, managing crises, communicating within an organization and consulting employees.

Description 2

As you move through the program, you'll compare and contrast stages of change, both within individual companies and across different ones. This degree can give you the skills necessary to influence achievement and improve your company. You can earn your MS in strategic human resources with a concentration in HR management and development entirely online or in the evenings on campus through the University of Denver's University College. Beyond coursework dedicated to HR management, you also can choose electives from other HR areas, including employment relations, operations, and learning and development.
