Advancing as academics and professionals in their fields, our graduate students find success before and after graduation. DU students graduating with a master's degree or doctorate degree go on to become secretaries of state, CEOs and business owners. While here, they thrive as researchers, writers, community leaders, teaching assistants and integral parts of our 50 centers and institutes.
DU Career & Professional Development works with companies, nonprofits, startups and other organizations to help connect our graduates with job opportunities. We also host networking events and provide career coaching for our alumni well after graduation. More than 25% of employed master's students found their jobs through DU connections, and we're eager to help you join that number.
Our Alumni Support
In addition to offering career and professional development, we stay connected with our alumni to provide networking opportunities, offer health and life insurance, and hold reunion events. Visit our Alumni website for more information on how we support our students after they graduate.
Success at Amazon
Computer science master's student Sneha Sawlani used the experience she gained from her work at DU to land an internship with Amazon. She later turned that internship into a full-time position.
Grad Embraces Unknown
After practicing research data management on an academic research team, Kayanne Klipka — master's graduate in library information sciences —encourages new students to embrace curiosity and explore their options.
Alumni of our graduate programs contribute to their communities and the world as leaders in scholarship, research, public service, private enterprise, the startup community and nonprofits.
Our Inclusive Community
What can you achieve on a campus where learning happens in class, in the field and across disciplines and cultures? At DU, we provide an open learning environment where established ideas are questioned and all perspectives are welcome — and needed.
