Specializations

You are required to choose at least one area of specialization and successfully complete at least three upper-division INTS courses (12 credit hours) within that area.

Specialization areas include:

This program combines all requirements from the International Studies bachelor's and master's, including proficiency in a foreign language. You will also study abroad as part of your learning experience.

Application Requirements

Informal Application Due Sophomore Year

You're required to submit a non-binding, informal application and a letter of intent to the associate director of the BA program to be considered for BA/MA candidacy.

Formal Application Due Junior Year

All official application materials must be received no later than February 1st of your junior year. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Dual degree applicants are subject to the standard application fee.
