Daniels College of Business
A Master of Science in real estate and the built environment is offered through the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the Daniels College of Business. The advantage of coming to the Burns School is that you'll see the big picture, overseeing integrated project delivery, with both real estate and property development. That's because the MS REBE is the only real estate and construction program within an accredited business college.
The professors in the Burns School are not only academics. They also have professional certifications in the field and strong connections in the industry.

Our students have exceptional experiential opportunities; You can team up with developers in the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) projects, enroll in the real estate capital markets class where you'll manage and evaluate assets in the Mueller Real Estate Investment Fund or work on real-world issues in the building industry by designing, building and completing a fully functioning home as part of the Solar Decathlon Build Challenge.

Our Master of Science in marketing program allows students to learn marketing strategy, hard analytical skills and tackle projects for real-world clients.
The Marketing Department is home to the Consumer Insights and Business Innovation Center. Here, students get hands-on experience researching the needs, feelings and behaviors of consumers. This is invaluable data for companies, and the work allows students to connect data to the decisions marketers make in the real world.
From marketing metrics and digital strategies to consumer behavior and brand management, you'll take a wide variety of coursework to master the field of marketing. Students have several opportunities to intern and work with real-world clients to get hands-on experience in the industry.
Students who complete the 45-47 credit hour program land jobs in a variety of marketing fields. In 2016, 75 percent of graduates had accepted job offers three months after graduation.

The Master of Science in management from the Daniels College of Business is designed for people who didn't pursue an undergraduate degree in business. No matter your career field, effective management is critical as you work to make a business or organization successful. Earn an MS in Management to learn organizational behavior, talent recruiting, strategic decision-making, financial know-how and organizational accountability.
With a multi-disciplinary approach, you'll be able to run projects smoothly, with seamless management strategies and teams of people who are fulfilled and productive on the job. Daniels College of Business
In the Master of Science in applied quantitative finance program at the Reiman School of Finance, you'll learn in-depth finance theories, develop financial models and become an industry professional who can think on the fly, anticipate changes and adapt. You'll discover how to approach these areas with honesty-our program is recognized by the CFA Institute for its emphasis on professional conduct and ethical standards.
On campus, you'll get hands-on investment experience managing the Marsico Fund. We're also the only University participating in Deutsche Bank's Global Commercial Microfinance Consortium, providing a truly unique opportunity among institutions of higher learning.
Our students enjoy a strong faculty/student ratio, with professors who are connected to professionals in their fields. Outside of class, you can also connect with Daniels alumni at one of our three annual receptions in New York.
You can also gain understanding of foreign markets by taking an international trip to Germany, Brazil, Belgium or England. To understand domestic markets further, students can go to New York for the Walk on Wall Street or to the Chicago Exchange.
Daniels College of Business
The dual-degree program from the School of Accountancy allows students to complete a Bachelor of Science in accountancy and a Master of Accountancy in five years. You can apply to this program while you're pursuing your bachelor's degree at DU. If accepted, you'll take a mix of undergraduate and graduate courses during your fourth and fifth years.
The program will prepare you for career paths as an auditor, accountant, CPA, controllers and even CFO or CEO. You can specialize in assurance, accounting information systems and data analytics, taxation or business valuation.
Almost all of our domestic graduates from this program accept positions three months after graduating. Many find themselves at top accounting firms, including Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton.
Students take classes in consolidated financial statements, accounting for foreign operations, corporate and partnership taxation, and non-profit accounting.
Daniels College of Business
A Bachelor of Science in accountancy at the Daniels College of Business gives students the chance to learn how to evaluate an organization by its numbers. You'll be able to develop the skills to gauge company performance, gain a deeper understanding of the enterprise as a whole, and use that insight to inform business decisions and processes. Working closely with students and peers, you'll have the chance to explore corporate taxes, government accounting and accounting for foreign operations.
Our students go through courses in a cohort model, meaning you'll progress through the program with a group of your peers. This model allows you to build strong connections that last long after completing the program. Upon graduation, you can continue onto the Master of Accountancy program at Daniels, which fulfills the requirements to take the CPA exam. Regardless, the bachelor of science program prepares students for careers as accountants, controllers and auditors.
College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
The graduate certificate in Religious Studies offers in-depth grounding in key religions and traditions. Upon completion, you'll have gained a strong foundation in two major world religious traditions, theoretical approaches to the study of religion and knowledge of major issues in a particular religious tradition or aspect of religion.
This certificate is designed for students currently enrolled in graduate programs in fields other than religious studies, as well as working professionals looking to enhance their credentials or expand their expertise in a new direction. Credits earned through the program can also apply toward the Religious Studies master's degree. Students who successfully complete the program requirements will be awarded a graduate certificate. The program adheres to U.S. federal guidelines mandating 24-credit hours of graduate-level coursework.
