Enterprise Risk Management
As part of the Business & Financial Affairs Division, the University of Denver's Department of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) works closely with you and your department to manage the risks of the University. Composed of three interworking subdivisions, we are the DU community's resource for transparent information on insurance and workers' compensation, international travel and compliance, and records management.
Insurance & Workers' Compensation
We manage certificates of insurance (COIs), liability insurance and protect DU from hazards or perils that may impact the life, safety, reputation, financial, property and operations of the institution. We also manage the workers' compensation policy and claim reporting information.
Compliance & Records Management
Compliance conducts risk assessments of University business operations to ensure that legal requirements are followed while managing policies related to ethical behavior and corporate governance. We also assist in records management using Hampden Center Storage Services.
Risk is an inherent aspect of travel. We want University travelers to benefit from international experiences while keeping them safe. To that end, we help travelers navigate University requirements and encourage sound practices and safety measures that minimize risks to travelers and the institution.
