The Distinguished Scholar Award recognizes a faculty member's unusually significant and meritorious achievement in professional scholarship, as evidenced by publications and their effect on classroom teaching. Dr. Anna Sher, biological sciences professor and chair of DU's Sustainability Council, earned this year's award for being an internationally recognized expert on restoration biology.
