Coursework has been mapped to the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) standards and the program curriculum aligns with the Common Body of Knowledge for CISSP certification developed by the International Information Systems Security Certifications Consortium (ISC)². Coursework in both the bachelor's program and the master's program is available entirely online.
Sturm College of Law
As one of the oldest and largest programs of its kind in the nation, Denver Law's Graduate Tax Program is a leader in training tax specialists in the legal professions. Current lawyers and JD students in our LLM program train side by side with accountants from our Master's program to gain cross-disciplinary experience on aspects of tax. Our curriculum is nothing but tax, with courses taught using the Internal Revenue Code, treasury regulations, and other related material. The Graduate Tax Program prepares tax professionals for a career in tax.
Students can complete the Tax LLM program in a way that best fits their life and schedule. All Graduate Tax courses are delivered in an asynchronous online format that allows you to fit the program within your schedule, while also providing opportunities for live interaction with faculty and classmates and in-person events for those who are in the Denver area.
Students have the option to pursue their Tax LLM as a full-time or part-time student. Full-time students can earn a degree in just one year and part-time students generally finish the degree in 18–24 months. Most working professionals pursue their Tax LLM as part-time students to successfully balance all of their obligations.

Graduate School of Professional Psychology
The online MA in sport coaching (MASC) program educates and prepares coaches of all sports and levels, as well as strength and conditioning coaches, to enhance athlete, team or client performance. Students benefit from a comprehensive, flexible and individualized curriculum designed by internationally respected faculty experts in coach education. We offer an ideal blend of coursework in sport sciences and the psychological, sociological and ethical aspects of sport coaching. Our student-coaches engage in interactive, student-centered coursework to gain practical skills for real-world settings.
A distinguishing feature of the MASC program is the team-taught practicum in coaching course sequence designed to help students gain problem-solving skills in their coaching context. While enrolled in the practicum, each student is paired with a mental skills consultant (sport psychologist) or a coach-mentor, providing an additional opportunity for growth and development.
Students benefit from faculty experts in coaching education and online teaching, and continually engage with a vibrant network of peers, coaches and faculty dedicated to their success. As innovators and continuous learners, students graduate as quality scholar-coaches prepared to enhance performance ethically.
Graduate School of Professional Psychology
The MA degree in sport and performance psychology is intended for individuals in the sport, performing arts, health and fitness, or mental health fields who want to develop their ability to improve the performance of those with whom they work. Denver's passion for sports and thriving performing arts scene make it a perfect place to master the practice of sport and performance psychology. The two-year program is designed to provide training in the areas of: principles of performance, quality practice and learning, coaching/leadership, team development, and consulting in a variety of contexts.
Beyond the classroom, students apply their skills through the Center for Performance Excellence (CPEX), our nonprofit consulting organization that serves the Denver community. Sites include high school and collegiate athletic departments, performing arts schools and local health-related industries. In addition to integrating theory and technique, this applied training affords students the opportunity to network within the field. Students complete a capstone project consisting of reviewing video of consultation sessions, receiving supervision and reflective practice. Unique electives include Entrepreneurship in sport and performance psychology, psychophysiology and biofeedback, and psychology of high-risk occupations.
