CBS4, KCNC-TV Denver becomes exclusive local broadcast partner of DU athletics and recreation

(May 21, 2013) The University of Denver and CBS4, KCNC-TV Denver, announced yesterday a multi-year partnership that will make the station an official sponsor of the Division of Athletics and Recreation starting in July 2013.

Don't forget to drop off your remaining "D" logo materials

(May 21, 2013) If you haven't dropped off your "D" logo materials at the collection sites to be sustainably repurposed, please review the collection plan. Effective July 1, old logo materials should no longer be in use.

Submit your events to the Speaker Series page

(May 21, 2013) Is your unit hosting a lecture over the summer or this fall? The University will help you promote it on the Speaker Series page. The page needs events for the summer and fall quarters; submit your event by filling out the online submission form.

Volunteers needed! Move out donation drive – June 3-7

(May 21, 2013) Each year, students in the residence halls leave tons (literally tons) of items when they move out of the residence halls at the end of the year. We need your help to load those items onto trucks to donate to a variety of nonprofit organizations.

Film screening: The Dream is Now – May 22, 6:30 p.m.

(May 21, 2013) Please join the Upsilon Gamma Chapter of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity as they host the first Denver screening of The Dream is Now on campus. This documentary follows four undocumented youth in America and focuses on the personal stories of dreamers and their families. A panel discussion will follow the screening. Care for the Ages: What Your Parents Might Not Be Telling You – May 23, noon-1 p.m.

(May 21, 2013) "Care for the Ages" is an ongoing program from Religious & Spiritual Life and the Graduate School of Social Work aimed at those of us who may be "sandwiched" between aging parents and children of our own, or who are simply watching our (grand) parents get older. The Department of Theatre presents: The Senior Capstone Festival cycle three – May 23-25, 7:30 p.m.

(May 21, 2013) The third and final installment of the Senior Capstone Festival will feature six plays: Trial by Jury, The Unwanted, Oh, the Humanity!, The Fourth Mrs. Phillips, Lynette at 3am and Talk to Me Like the Rain and Let Me Listen. Every year, as part of their graduation requirement, senior theatre students direct a one-act play using the theatrical skills, techniques, perspectives and styles learned from the theatre program.
