What's a CMP? 

Commuter Meal Plans are prepaid, discounted meal packages loaded directly onto your ID Card. They’re a simple way to save money and pay for meals on campus!

How It Works

The steps to purchase and use a Commuter Meal Plan vary slightly depending on your role.

To Purchase a CMP

For Students:

1. Choose a Plan
Select a 10-block or 50-block meal plan

2. Purchase in DU Pay

3. Plan Activates Automatically
Available the next business day

4. Use Your DU ID to Dine
Swipe at dining halls or participating locations

For Employees:

1. Choose a Plan
Select a 10-block or 50-block meal plan

2. Add Funds to Your Flex Account

3. Contact the ID Office to Activate

4. Use Your DU ID to Dine

  • What's in a CMP?

    A Commuter Meal Plan (CMP) consists of meal swipes and Meal Plan Cash if applicable. 

    With a CMP, you get: 

    • 24% savings with the 10-Block plan 

    • 19% savings with the 50-Block plan 

    • Collection of meal swipes based on the plan purchases (10 swipes with the 10-Block etc.)

    • Scan-and-go convenience 

    • Easy budgeting 

    • $330 in Meal Plan Cash included with the 50-Block plan 

    Simply scan your ID and dine!

  • Activation & Refunds

    • Meal plans purchased through DUPay activate on the following business day 

    • Weekend purchases are activated the following business day by 5 p.m. 

    • CMPs are nonrefundable 

  • Eligibility

    CMPs are available ONLY to:

    • Faculty and staff 

    • Commuter students 

    • 3rd- and 4th-year students 

    • Continuing education students 

    • Graduate students 

    • Students who have used their entire 

    • residential meal plan and need additional meals for the quarter 

     *Residential students who have not exhausted their required plan are not eligible.*

Already Have a Plan? 

View, deposit, and manage your meal plan, card services, and Flex information through the eAccounts portal: eAccounts Management Portal 

 

Need a Different Student Meal Plan? 

Eligible 3rd- and 4th-year students, graduate students, and students not required to live on campus may request a Voluntary 30-Block or 65-Block Plan through Housing. 

Visit the Housing Portal and select Meal Plan Request under Quick Links.
