Sustainability Coursework

The University of Denver is committed to incorporating sustainability into coursework across multiple disciplines across campus allowing for innovative and collaborative educational opportunities. The Department of Geography and the Environment currently offers a sustainability minor for undergraduate students. The Graduate School of Social Work offers a concentration in sustainability as well. Featured Course

Students in the Environmental Sustainability LLC take three 2-credit academic courses during their first year at the University of Denver. Community engagement experiences are an important piece to the program and are incorporated throughout the year. In each quarter, students explore a different aspect of environmental sustainability.

  • EALC 2001 - Environmental Sustainability: Regional and Local Environmental Issues
  • EALC 2002 - Environmental Sustainability: Impact of Development on the Environment
  • EALC 2003 - Environmental Sustainability: Energy in American Society
