DU graduate students claim number one spot on Peace Corps list
(Feb. 25, 2014) The Josef Korbel School of International Studies is the number one Peace Corps producing graduate school in the U.S. with 23 students currently serving abroad. The majority of the 23 students are enrolled in the school's Peace Corps Master's International Program.

Now accepting clothing donations for Professional Attire Fair
(Feb. 18, 2014) Is your closet in need of a spring cleaning? Help undergraduate students dress to impress by donating gently used professional clothing during the first annual Professional Attire Fair sponsored by the Center for Multicultural Excellence and the Career Services Center. Gently used professional clothing may be dropped off through Wednesday, April 9 at the Career Services Center located in Driscoll Student Center South.
Acceptable items include:
- full suits
- professional shirts
- professional skirts
- professional dresses
All donations must be laundered and free of holes, stains, or any other noticeable blemishes. Donations may be dropped off Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Career Services Center.

Nominate a colleague for the Robin Morgan Award
(Feb. 18, 2014) Established in 2001, the Robin Morgan Award honors a DU staff woman who goes above and beyond her University responsibilities to promote and enhance the University community, specifically in the area of women's concerns. Nominate a colleague by Feb. 28. The award will be presented at the 19th annual Women's Conference on March 28.
Internationalization Summit call for proposals
(Feb. 18, 2014) The Office of Internationalization is pleased to announce the call for proposals for the first Internationalization Summit on Friday, April 11. In conjunction with this year's sesquicentennial events, this one-day summit will explore internationalization at the University and in the global and local contexts through keynote speakers, presentations, workshops, poster presentations, panels and round tables. All members of the DU community are encouraged to submit proposals to present. Please follow this link for further information and access to the online submission form. The deadline for submissions is Monday, March 3.

Office of Teaching and Learning Conference: Empowering students to be self-directed leaders – Request for proposals
(Feb. 4, 2014) The 2014 Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) Conference will take place on April 4. OTL is looking for DU faculty members to share effective strategies that empower students to be independent, self-directed learners, including teaching methods that focus on helping students come to class prepared, engage in active learning, reflect on their own learning, self-assess, learn from their mistakes, be active participants in group activities, become lifelong learners, etc. Proposals are due Feb. 14; visit the conference portfolio site for details.
