The Campus Climate Fund - New on-campus funding resource
(Jan. 14, 2014) The Campus Climate Fund is a newly established grant opportunity funded in partnership by Center for Multicultural Excellence, the Undergraduate Student Government Diversity Committee and the DU Programming Board (DUPB). Together, these three entities will provide a fund of $20,000 for projects/initiatives that support cross-campus collaborations creating a more inclusive campus climate at DU.
The Campus Climate Fund will be managed by a sub-committee of the DU Inclusive Excellence Collective, which is made up of representatives from across campus including undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty.
For the 2013-14 academic year, the Campus Climate Fund committee will fund one project that demonstrates a large collaborative effort, in addition to several smaller projects. It is expected that the larger collaboration project will come from members of the IE Collective to demonstrate the spirit of the fund.
For additional details and application information, visit the Campus Climate Fund website. Applications must be received by Monday, Jan. 27 by 8 a.m. Decisions will be announced by Jan. 31 and funds must be used by May 30, 2014.
