Joseph Labrecque publishes educational DVD

joseph labrecque(Dec. 17, 2013) Joseph Labrecque, senior interactive software engineer for the Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL), presents a comprehensive introduction to Flash Professional, including best practices as well as fundamental concepts of animation and interactivity in his DVD, Adobe Flash Professional CC: Learn by Video , published last week. The DVD includes more than four hours of video tutorials and the course comes complete with lesson files, assessment quizzes and review materials.

University of Denver Magazine wins two CASE District VI Institutional Awards

(Dec. 10, 2013) The University of Denver Magazine won gold in the category of Communications & Marketing Programs - College and University general interest magazines with a circulation of 75,000 or more; congratulations to Managing Editor Greg Glasgow and contributors. The story "Digging For Insight" by Senior Editor Tamara Chapman received silver in the category of Communications & Marketing Programs - Periodical staff writing for external audiences.

Lisken SeaderPlease stop by and say farewell to Lisken Seader. After 20 years of service to the University of Denver, Lisken is moving on to Emporia State University, Kansas as director of disability services. Lisken received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from DU; she is a lifelong Pioneer and will be greatly missed by students, faculty and staff.
